And just like that - at 24 weeks pregnant - I lost my job.
I am stunned and devastated at the moment. I will write more after allowing myself some time to recover.
OMG, that is one hell of a way for them to say Happy Holidays! That really bites, I am so sorry. I have known way too many people that have lost their jobs this year. I wish I knew what else to say other than that really bites.
I've been following your blog for it paralleled a bit of my granddaughter's pregnancy. But not in this. She's a youth minister's wife and is not employed. But I have been, and received such a RIF notice. It is stunning, in the true sense of that phrase. The best advice I have is to breathe deeply, relax for a few days. Nothing will happen for a while. Enjoy a bit of winter quiet -- perhaps Bible study and prayer. He may be opening new doors as you do so. May this be a blessed Christmas for you.
I was popping over to say thanks for stopping by, but somehow that is not appropriate for this post!I am sorry that you have to deal with this and the holidays at the same time. I'll keep you in my prayers. :)
Oh no! I'm so sorry. I can't understand why businesses have to do this during the holidays. It sucks.
