Both of my parents own a cell phone, and have had the same phones for years now. Their cell phones came with chargers, I feel sure. However, they will NOT leave them on, making it impossible to reach them sometimes.They are afraid to "run the battery down." My mom is paranoid about "using minutes."
When I got to see my parents last, they had a surprise in store for me. They got NEW ONES. Better yet, they verified that since we all have the same carrier, we can call each other for FREE!
My mother, for the first time, called my dad inside a store they were in together because she could not find him. THE CONVENIENCE!
I am so, so proud. (Insert single tear.)
