This afternoon we were in for yet another surprise. My brother-in-law, the Vet, had the day off from work today. He used his entire day to shovel up dirt onto our sad, pathetic driveway. He nailed down railing that will help us save our dirt & gravel if (maybe I should just say when) it floods again. All this lays the foundation for J to be able to work on it this weekend if the weather holds up.
He did all this without being asked or without letting us know it was in his plans. That's just the kind of guy he is. We are certainly not the first or the last objects of his amazing generosity.
We are incredibly lucky to have him in our family and as our neighbor.
