I have the best Dad in the whole world.
Today he & my Mom came down to meet J & I for lunch. Then we had a great afternoon of just hanging out, talking and laughing.
Before they left, they stopped over at the ice cream party that J's family threw.
My Dad is diabetic.
He had a bunch of ice cream. Homemade. Not sugar-free.
What can you say? He loves it. It makes him happy. So there, Diabetes. Let him have his ice cream. It's his day. He can spend the rest of the week sugar-free.
